International standards and certification: CB system (IEC62133 standard) international certification standard IEC62133 for battery pack and battery cell import schedule: and the certification standard ul1642 commonly used by the former cell factory, along with the International Electro technical Association IECEE According to the resolution of ACAG / 1398 / DSH, the introduction of c62133 will be carried out step by step, and the test results of ul1642 will not be directly accepted. In other words, it can be expected that in the future, EU certification bodies, such as TUV, VDE, Semko, Nemko, Fimko, Demko, etc., will follow the introduction of IEC62133 and adopt the same authentication strategy.

Here is the lead-in journey for battery certification.

Before May 1, 2011: the test report of ul1642 can be fully received without additional evaluation.

From May 1, 2011 to May 1, 2012: partial acceptance of ul1642 test report requires evaluation of the difference between IEC62133 and ul1642.

After May 1, 2012: only battery cells conforming to IEC 62133 are accepted

1. China market CQC certification GB / T18287

2. Battery certification in US market

UL certification: UL1642 for cell, UL2054 for battery pack

Safety requirements for lithium battery transportation (UN38.3 and 1.2m drop test) battery related environmental regulations (battery directive) mainly test the content of lead and mercury.

3. Battery certification in EU market

Battery Directive: 2006 / 66 / ECPB: 40ppm, CD: 20ppm, Hg: 5 PPM.WEEE RoHS reach (directive for scrapped electrical and electronic equipment) regulation reach is a chemical regulatory system implemented from June 1, 2007 under the EU regulation registration, assessment, authorization and restriction of chemicals. The safety requirement for EMC testing (CE marking) during transportation is un38.3en 62281.

4. Battery certification in Japan

PSE certification standards jis8712 and j8714; implementation date: November 20, 2008

5. Battery certification for foreign trade UN38.3

Ensure the safety of air transportation, and meet the transportation needs of customers for lithium battery cargo. According to the relevant provisions of IATA Dangerous Goods rules, the operation specification of rechargeable IATA lithium battery, namely UN38.3 (UNDOT), is formulated.

According to the requirements of civil aviation regulations, airlines and airport cargo collection and transportation departments should review the transport documents of lithium batteries, and the most important one is the safety test report of each type of lithium battery UN38.3. The report can be provided by the third-party inspection agency designated by civil aviation, or by battery manufacturers with detection capability. If the test report cannot be provided, civil aviation will prohibit the lithium battery from being transported by air.

UN38.3 refers to 38.3 in part 3 of the United Nations Manual of transport tests and standards for dangerous goods specially formulated by the United Nations for the transportation of dangerous goods, which requires that lithium batteries must pass the high simulation, high and low temperature cycle, vibration test, impact test, 55 ℃ external short circuit, extrusion or impact test, overcharge test and forced discharge test before lithium battery transportation safety. If the lithium battery is not installed with the equipment, it must also pass the 1.2m free drop test.

UN38.3 applicable product range:

• Various power lithium secondary batteries (such as batteries for power vehicles, batteries for electric road vehicles, batteries for electric tools, batteries for hybrid electric vehicles, etc.)

• Various mobile phone batteries (such as lithium ion battery, lithium polymer battery, etc.)

• All kinds of small secondary batteries (such as notebook computer batteries, digital camera batteries, camera batteries, various cylindrical batteries, wireless communication batteries, portable DVD batteries, CD and MP3 player batteries, etc.)

• Various primary batteries (such as lithium manganese batteries, etc.)

6. Application scope of CE / CB, en / IEC 62133 standard

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the safety performance of portable sealed secondary battery monomer and battery (Group) (different from button type battery) containing alkaline or non-acid electrolyte under the conditions of intended use and foreseeable abuse.
